Our low cost Premier Business Service includes a patent search of all the patent databases that are online and we try and produce the results as quickly as possible within 20 working days*. If you need it faster we can quote you for a 10 day or 5 day service depending on our current workload.

We provide a printed report including printouts of the most relevant information such as similar patents that we find during our research. If we confirm that the idea is new and protectable then we can consider its market potential and give you our opinion on that as well.

This service includes up to one hour of telephone or email discussion with one of our Patent Attorneys if you need it. This alone more than covers the cost of the service.

Process Timescales and Content: If the assessment process is straightforward we endeavour to report to you within 20 working days, from the date when your invention description and payment is received. If your idea is complex or if we need to contact experts as part of the evaluation or during particularly busy periods it may take longer. In either case we endeavour to report to you at the earliest opportunity. For the Premier Service we understand that for Business Reasons you may not wish us to conduct a Commercial Review.
